We?re seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Desktop Support Analyst with intermediate to advanced Windows troubleshooting and deployment skills for our prestigious client who is undergoing a company wide infrastructure upgrade. The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for all end user IT support, resolving both hardware and software related problems. This Desktop Support professional must be capable of accurately and consistently logging all problems and initiate an incident ticket to track calls, problems and dispositions. Additionally, the Desktop Support professional will be responsible for open issue follow-up to ensure adequate resolution and customer satisfaction on software issues and installation of replacement hardware components. Daily projects and tasks will include setting up and providing ongoing support of PC computers/applications; upgrading various operating systems; managing and tracking digital assets; and managing antivirus software on all systems and servers. You?ll also be responsible for managing internal and external clients? expectations on a constant basis. This a a long term contract opportunity. ? Rapid response and resolution of support requests by employees as it regards to Windows workstations and laptops, network connectivity, VPN (Cisco), email (Outlook), portal (SharePoint) and other technologies. ? Install IT equipment as needed, including servers, switches, desktop, laptops, printers, etc. ? Active Directory administration. ? Deploy and Track Windows 7/8/10 Laptops, Desktops, Tablets and Virtual Machines. ? Perform special projects as required. ? Assist with special projects including the deployment of new technologies ? Assist with user training. ? Assist with telephone support utilizing remote desktop technologies. To be successful, you will quickly learn the business requirements of our client; be very detail oriented; possess strong communication skills; and efficiently manage daily tasks and activities to meet deliverables and project goals.
