WHAT YOU WILL DO
•Provide technical assistance (in person, remote desktop, phone or email) for user issues related to both hardware and software.
•Maintain daily performance of computer systems (desktop, laptops and tablets).
•Walk customer through problem-solving processes and train them to help make them self-sufficient.
•Image and maintain desktops/laptops/tablets, install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
•Identify and resolve or escalate technical problems with desktop, notebooks, mobile devices, printers, software, hardware, local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other systems.
•Install computer peripherals for users.
•Using effective communication, technical and analytical skills, the Support Engineer works on projects, provides technical support including maintenance and upgrading of resources, coordinates with other staff to resolve operational issues.
•Meet with Senior Support Manager daily/Weekly or as needed.
•Gain feedback from customers about computer issues and ensure full resolution of user problems.
•Maintain best practices and procedures for patch management, malware management, security principles and operating system upgrades.
•Assist in datacenter maintenance and jobsite setup/teardown activities.
•Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
•3+ years of experience in the following:
•Windows Help Desk role supporting 250+ local and remote users.
•Proficiency with managing Users and PCs in Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, etc.
•Deploying, supporting, and managing Windows OS, Microsoft Office, mobile devices, and common mainstream desktop apps, with a focus on supporting end users.
•Administering user accounts in cloud technologies such as Microsoft O365, Azure or Google enterprise, Box, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, etc.
•A working understanding of:
•Networking (Cisco, HP, Aerohive, Palo Alto Network, Meraki, VoIP)
•WAN and LAN (DNS, mail routing protocols, AD replication, TCP/IP, VPN and networking)
•Compute (Windows OS server (>2008) & desktop (win7-10), Apple OS & iOS)
•Storage (Windows File Servers, Box cloud storage)
•Industry certifications in technology a big plus (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, VCP6)
•Demonstrable track record of driving IT projects to completion.
•Ability to work independently as required. Manage expectations. Analyze data, and the ability to manage internal and external relationships).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
•3+ years’ experience working as a Windows / Help desk engineer.
•BA or BS in technical field
•Industry certifications is a plus
