Job Description:
- This position is an established Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering professional wo develops, designs and plans manufacturing process and coordinates sequence of operations for optimized product manufacturability, testability and highest quality.
- Reviews and documents quality related items to ensure that established quality standards are met.
- Identifies cost reduction and process improvement opportunities to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
- Leverages analysis on cell performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
- Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.
- Adapts machine and equipment designs to factory and production standards.
- Conducts detailed design work focused on the layout of assembly and materials handling operations.
- Plans the sequence of operations and develops specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Improves production methods, determines manufacturing capacity, and sets up production schedules.
- Assists in developing time, labor and product cost estimates.
- Designs and plans layout for assembly and materials handling.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- Plans sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product function and performance.
- Develops manufacturing processes, routers, method sheets, visual aids and similar process optimization workflow documents.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design for manufacturability and design for testability design concepts, and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques in a safe manner.
