One of our top financial services clients is undertaking a massive effort to standardize their Enterprise Access Management functions. The Enterprise Information Security organization will drive the Enterprise Entitlements & Role Management program. This multi-phase program will bring stakeholders across the organization into a single governance structure for entitlements & role management as well as centralize core and critical assets to one strategic platform.
Within this program there are many new roles being created. This specific set of roles will focus on building an efficient process to identify, manage and deprovision inactive accounts. These roles will sort through large spreadsheets that include information about inactive user accounts and determine how they fit into a new corporate process that is under development.
1) Strong analytical skills and ability to think about up/downstream impacts of process development/changes.
2) Solid understanding of Access Management concepts (Role/Attribute/Policy Based Access Control; provision/deprovision; inactivity; entitlements)
3) Excel - understand pivot tables and how to sort data/manipulate spreadsheets
4) Keen eye for details/anomalies while quickly sorting through large amounts of data
MS Visio for workflow and process development - at the very least they will read this, but may be helping build process flows
