Infoscitex (IST), a DCS company, is seeking a Software Engineering Inter to assist our Human Autonomy Systems team. Our Human Autonomy Systems group provides state-of-the-art modeling, simulation, and analysis services for the Air Force Research Laboratories at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Essential Job Functions:
As this Software Engineering Intern, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop user interfaces (UI's) and support system architecture. Your work will support production of new human-autonomy interface capabilities for the U.S. Air Force, and involves working with subject matter experts in Air Force operations and human factors areas to develop state-of-the-art UI's for decision aiding and vehicle control. You will be mentored by simulation developers widely recognized in the modeling and simulation community for their technical excellence.
In this role, you will be assisting in the development, integration and assessment of advanced operator control stations associated with advanced unmanned air vehicles.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least partial completion of a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline and at least some related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification).
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.
Developer capabilities with C++, C#, and Java.
