Java Developer

Job Description

Job Duties:
- Create, customize and maintain the web application front end design and User Interface.
- Work with business analysts to turn their User Interface Specifications/mockups into working web pages.
- Create and edit templates for a web development framework and shared code.
- Work on the styling of the web pages.
- Work with Java developers to tie in business logic and other code to develop interactive and dynamic web pages.
- Work with the website content.
- Stay update to date with the emerging User Interface and User Experience technologies, designs and trends.
- Design Web pages to conform to 508 guidelines.
- Participate with Bank personnel in Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions, and identify potential work process
improvements.
- Create or update system documentation, as needed.
- Draft, edit and implement Help Text files for existing and new modules.
- Develop and unit test complex application web components.
- Provide technical support for system production issues.
- Create or update system documentation.
- Transfer, in a timely manner, technical and business knowledge to Bank personnel.
Qualifications - External

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
- Proficient with Angular 2+.
- Hands on working experience of 1 year using Angular 2+
- At least 5 years of experience in developing complete front end applications using CSS, HTML and JavaScript/
TypeScript.
- Experience with developing single page applications utilizing MVC, MV* patterns.
- Experience with creating reusable JavaScript/TypeScript components in Angular 2+.
- Proficient with patterns and practices in UI development. (MVC, MVVC, Event driven, REST, OWASP Secure Coding,
Unit testing, responsive design).
- A general understanding of how things work in a multi layered enterprise application developed using Java.
- US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three of more years of US residency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Angular 5 highly preferred.
- Familiarity with NodeJS and npm.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap 3, Webpack.
- Familiar with Java.
- Experience with HTML 5 and CSS 3.
- Experience with Rest API.
