Our client, one of the largest government integrators in the DC metro market, is seeking a junior or mid-level java developer to help support the Environmental Protection Agency. The position of the java developer will be doing enhancement and upgrades within the application utilizing full-stack java technologies.
With multiple openings on the team our client can support candidates with a variety of years of experience within the junior to mid-level range. Senior candidates may be overqualified for this position but should still apply if interested.
The position currently sits in McLean, Virginia and is metro accessible. The team will be relocating to an office in Reston, Virginia within the end of the year.
1- Experience in Object Oriented Java Development - ability to answer basic OOD questions.
2- Experience with Spring MVC is preferred and hibernate
3 Experience in an agile environment and testing your own code

REQUIRED SKILLS: Software development process in an Agile development environment. Hands on experience on: JSP, Frameworks like Struts, JSF, Spring. Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or iBatis Java-based development and configuration management tools: preferred ones are Eclipse; JDeveloper, Ant, JUnit, PVCS, Subversion. Experience in JS technologies; jQuery, AngularJS, ember JS. Knowledge of one or more RDBMS Databases like: Oracle , MySQL, PostGRES. Experience on developing web services using SOAP, and REST
