About this role:
The Information Security Analyst participates in the identification, tracking, and monitoring of information security threats and service operations. He/She utilizes established processes and tools to focus on incident response, threat identification, analyses, and remediation. This position participates in the implementation and integration of risk management procedures. He/She supports the processes for technical and physical risk management to protect UPS’s information assets. This position assists with the development and maintenance of business continuity planning, data, systems, and network security for systems and controls related to their job duties.
The Information Security Analyst will become an integral member of the Identity Access Management (IAM) team that administers and supports the IdentityIQ product. This includes development and testing of the Lifecycle Manager portion of IIQ. He/she will collaborate with colleagues and internal clients to support the existing IIQ processes as well as designing, implementing and documenting new solutions that meet UPS’ Identity Access Management needs.
- Experience with Information Security Project Management, Internet Development Architecture & Design, Security Architecture Engineering/Design/Analysis
- 1 year of knowledge of Java, BeanShell, SQL and XML
- Experience with Agile Development skills including user stories, task development and assignment and internal testing, SQL Programming
- Must be Self-Motivated, Investigative/Detective, Agile and Scrum Concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent in education work experience
