Junior Project Manager

Brooksource is searching for a Junior Project Manager for one of our Fortune 500 Industrial Manufacturing companies in the South Charlotte area. This is the ideal opportunity for a candidate with 0-3 years of experience to quickly make a tangible impact within their Global Distribution Logistics team.

The Junior Project Manager's main responsibility is project support, reporting, and workflow management. This individual will also closely assist Senior Project Managers, Business Analysts and additional business units to help drive successful project results. This role requires the ability to effectively manage tactical initiatives, and the ability to drive the full lifecycle of projects from idea to execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to drive national and global project implementation and change management to ensure successful implementation of all Transformation projects in designated region

• Assist projects to completion in accordance with the required timeline

• Control project plans by managing schedules, interdependencies, resources, savings estimates, and plan changes

• Identify, communicate, and develop mitigation plans for risks and issues

• Prepare project status reports, coordinate schedules, and coordinate project activities with stakeholders

• Monitor and report key project information including status, risks, milestone timelines, and savings timelines

• Prepare communications and project status reports, and present at stakeholder meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 0-3+ years of experience in Project Management, IT, Supply Chain, or related field

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others in a matrixed environment

• Ability to prioritize work both independently and as part of a team; Ability to balance strategic project planning with real-time problem solving

• Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints

• Nice to have: Interest in project management or business analytics

• Nice to have: Experience working in Distribution centers

• Nice to have: Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Software

• Dress Code: Business Casual

• Location: Fort Mill, SC (remote opportunities)
