Labeling Engineer III

Job Description

Initiate and drive new labels and Instructions for Use (IFUs) designs in support of product initiatives, label design, content and artwork. Provide support to labeling projects in support of new product development and current production. Develops or directs development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed labeling in order to present design for changes and or approval. Plans and directs activities concerned with design and development of labels and Instructions for Use (IFUs). Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special-handling and safety requirements, and type of materials required for labeling. Prepare and support the execution of Labeling Validation Plans and Reports. Ensure labeling is in compliance with regulatory, customer and specification requirements and standards. Support the validation of labeling equipment to include IQ, OQ and PQ. Support Value Stream manufacturing teams for labeling projects. Provide technical support for label printing and database management.
Our organization is looking for a Labeling Engineer to join our team in our Plymouth, MN location. This role would be responsible for Initiating and driving new labels and Instructions for Use (IFUs) designs in support of product initiatives, label design, content and artwork. Develops or directs development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed labeling in order to present design for changes and or approval. Plans and directs activities concerned with design and development of labels and Instructions for Use (IFUs). Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special-handling and safety requirements, and type of materials required for labeling. Prepare and support the execution of Labeling Validation Plans and Reports. Ensure labeling is in compliance with regulatory, customer and specification requirements and standards.   • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interacts with all levels of the organizations to ensure that all necessary procedures and processes are in place.
  • Plans, organizes, and manages related projects and staff as appropriate.
  • Functions as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area of assignments.
  • Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or total project of moderate scope.
  • Independently performs assignments, receiving instruction only regarding general expected results.
  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered.
  • Investigates, develops and implements new process technologies of moderate scope.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience
