Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, device deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in
number, size and complexity.
Work is accomplished through independent contributions or project work requiring advanced subject area knowledge and decision-making skills.
Has wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in innovative and effective ways.
Solves complex issues and problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions, and using applicable functional knowledge and existing methodologies. Exercises judgment in selecting best methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions. Trains, guides and mentors other professionals or colleagues with less experience. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel, lead functional teams or projects, and serve as a best practice/quality resource.
Comprehensive knowledge (depth and/or breadth of expertise) in the Manufacturing space is preferred, specifically manufacturing systems experience (ERP's, Planning/Scheduling, ShopFloor/MES Systems and Quality), along with their related business processes.
Experience deploying and/or supporting Infor products (CloudSuite, LN, Baan), PINpoint products or Flexis is a plus.
Basic Requirements: (Minimum Experience)
Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of information technology project management experience, including 3 years of Lead experience
Master's degree and at least 6 years of information technology project management experience, including 3 years of Lead experience
At least 10 years of information technology project management experience, including 5 years of Lead experience
