My Client, a non-profit medical association, is seeking a Lead Network Administrator to join their team. This role will be responsible for analyzing, modifying, testing, implementing and supporting the electronic communications, networking and servers of the organization. The Lead Network Administrator is a Direct Placement role located in Rosemont.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures relative to troubleshooting, operating software, patching, hardware maintenance and network tuning. Train fellow staff members, as appropriate, in securing and managing existing network systems and resources. Ensure daily backups are taken of production servers and data is appropriately secured and regularly tested.
- Perform expert level telecommunication and operating system maintenance. Monitor and perform necessary network(s) system maintenance and modifications in order to assure the performance, security of and operational integrity of all network(s) and telecommunication system components utilizing a hardware and infrastructure support methodology.
- Develop and maintain a security policy for data integrity that aligns with business goals and protects corporate data assets and member confidentiality under all applicable laws and compliance policies. Implement measures to prevent virus attacks and other intrusions to minimize damage when they occur. Audit user systems for possible intrusion. Develop security reporting system that identifies breaches and documents current security environment.
