Essential Job Functions:
In this role, you could expect to act as LINUX System Administrator (CentOS 7/RHEL 7); Lead and perform all system administration tasks in cloud-based environment; Building, installing, and configuring software from source code and pre-built packages; Debugging installation/configuration issues; Shell scripting; QA testing of cloud instantiations; and write technical documentation, including the use of UML/SysML.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least a BS degree in systems engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline and at least 5 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification.)
Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: TS/SCI clearance.
Valid JWICS PKI certifications.
Security+ Certification (CISSP or CISM highly desirable).
Proven working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience setting up, configuring, and securing cloud infrastructure.
Experience working with clusters in the AWS cloud environment.
Strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills.
Ability to integrate with other teams and organizations.
Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with managers and customers.
While not firm requirements, the following skills would be advantageous:
Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)
Software development using Go, Java, or Python.
