Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer

.Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer for our client in Trevose, PA 19053.Job Description:Develops and writes Computer Numerical Control ﴾CNC﴿ Programs for machine tools. Coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties.
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods
  • Analyzes and plans space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Confers with equipment suppliers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Writes instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine.
  • Writes program of machine instructions in symbolic language to encode numerical control database to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
  • Compares or computer output with original program to assure accuracy of machine instructions.
  • Revises program to eliminate instruction errors or omissions.
  • Observes operation of machine on trial run to validate machine efficiency or programmed instructions.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

    .Required Skills / Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or at least one to two years of experience as a CNC programmer/Manufacturing Engineer
