Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

This is a hands on Manufacturing Engineering role which is going to involve a lot of time spent on the floor (about 80%) and about 20% desk time for documentation. Their main responsibilities are focused around developing plastic injection molding processes from scratch. Once they win the business the designers are going to be doing the part design and the tool will be built from there. Once the tool is built, the manufacturing engineer will be developing the injection molding process and doing improvements on the process

Their main responsibilities include:
*doing tooling samples
*process improvements
*troubleshooting molding process and tooling issues
*help with new process development for new programs
*reporting and documentation for process development

Must Have:
*3+ years' experience working as manufacturing/process engineer
*3+ years' experience working with plastics
*2+ years experience developing processes

Pluses:
*Plastic Injection Molding Experience
*Decorative Molding
*Automation experience
*Automotive/Medical experience
*Engineering Degree
