Job Summary:

CareerBuilder is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Marketing team as the Marketing Project Manager. The responsibilities of the Marketing Project Manager include supporting planning of marketing campaigns, delegating tasks to project team members and help balance resources and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget. You’re analytical, excellent at managing-up, and can make decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Marketing Leadership to create a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy
  • Collaborating with Analysts, Product Marketers, Product developers, Media buyers, Social Media and content writers and creatives to produce advertising content
  • Coordinating and managing against a content calendar and scheduling deadlines
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns
  • Managing and supervising marketing projects from beginning to end
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external vendors
  • Direction and evaluation of project management process
  • Setting up projects and managing them within Trello (or similar); Microsoft 365 Experience a plus
  • Vetting and analyzing project feedback
  • Updating and maintaining project tracking
  • Support Marketing team members in pulling initiatives 'through the line’ (i.e. being aware of all B2B and B2C product and marketing initiatives and helping to find overlap, efficiencies and builds on the work)
  • Contribute creative solutions – good ideas come from anywhere – you will be in the loop on all product and marketing roadmaps


**This role is remote. All CareerBuilder teams are currently remote due to COVID-19. When it is safe to return to the office, those teams will transition back to the office, but this role can remain remote.


  • 3+ years experience in the project management field for an agency or on a creative /creative services team
  • Strong working knowledge of video production, digital creative and social media creative
  • Great communication, people, leadership, organizational, and project/time management skills
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • True problem solver—able to anticipate roadblocks and offer solutions
  • The ability to prioritize and consistently handle multiple tasks across multiple clients and teams
  • Flexibility when it comes to changing priorities, while still meeting deadlines
  • Attention to detail, while simultaneously seeing the bigger picture
  • A willingness and ability to learn
  • A positive attitude when executing tasks across accounts
