I've got multiple brand new openings in the field of Aerospace/Telecommunications. Our client is located in Concord, CA and looking for a candidate who can see the big picture that has worked with electro-mechanical assemblies.
This is an amazing opportunity because it is a pure product development and R&D role, full design. Not just confined to a certain part.
Here's the major duties.
-Generate complex electro-mechanical assemblies and parts as needed in relatively high speed project development environment using Solid works, PDM Works and simulation professional.
-Use engineering tools such as FMEA, FEA, hand calculations and simulations to design quality and reliability into the products.
-Conduct discreet validation tests
-Author and supervise the creation of document packages and other deliverables
-Interface with other engineers and management for requirements definition
This is their ideal candidate;
-BSME + 5 Years exp
-Product design | working from concept through test
-Experience choosing materials | Differentiate aluminums
-Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis is must
-Hand calculations (stress)
-Experienced with electro-mechanical & complex products is a MUST-HAVE
