The Solutions Design Team is searching for an innovative and solutions oriented AutoCad expert to help design our next generation of Fulfillment Centers (FCs). A successful candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance physical systems, a strong technical problem-solving ability, the ability to effectively communicate with and influence decision-makers at all levels and an internal motivation to deliver results in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
1) Add fencing, paper space set up, stakeout points and other deploymentization aspects required to the layout
2) Generate survey points
3) Coordinate with Deployment Engineering to ensure continued support until sites are fully launched.
4) Include any as-built changes into the layout
5) May assist with minor updates to maps
6) Map release notes creation
Fundamental AutoCAD 2D drawing generation, updating, layer manipulation
Understand design guidelines and ability to validate designs against these guidelines
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and context switch between tasks
Strong time management skills
Ability to present in design reviews to in-person and remote teams.
Curiosity to understand system Key performance indicators and how to optimize
Ability to self-teach and retain information
3D CAD exposure, such as Revit
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a related field or Master's degree in engineering, operations, or a related field and at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience.
- Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and commercial off the shelf technologies such as Tableau, SQL, etc
