SEEKING MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description

Aerotek is looking for a Mechanical engineer that has electrical/mechatronics knowledge. This engineer will work from concept to manufacturing on agricultural equipment, specifically on motors for moving equipment.

This engineer will start with design in solidworks, use FEA for stress and strain analysis, work with steel and aluminum primarily and need to understand the properties of each to pick the appropriate material. They will also work with the electrical components and need an understanding of electrical wire harnesses/fluid logic. This engineer will work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Candidates must have experience with:

  • FEA analysis
  • Life Cycle engineering
  • Solidworks or inventor
  • Mechatronics experience with integration between electrical and mechanical components (how to connect, wire harnesses)
  • Fluid logic (how to combine the hydraulics with the electrical components)
