As F/A-18 Mission Planning Software Developer will develop and debug software for the F/A-18 and EA-18G Mission Systems Team.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop software for F/A-18 Mission Planning products including the F/A-18 Unique Planning Component (UPC) running on the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and upcoming next-generation efforts.
Perform design agent level testing of code developed.
Work within an Agile construct to develop and deliver code incrementally with the team.
Debug software code when issues are found.
Work with integration test engineers to ensure proper functionality of code.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering with 2 plus years of experience in Windows application development (C#, VB.NET and C++).
Must have the ability to work with various server and workstation operating systems.
Must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
Experience with F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft platforms a plus.
Experience with Java a plus.
Experience with Confluence Fusion and Jira a plus.
