Mobile Communication Strategy Coordinator/Manager

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Communication Strategy Project Coordinator/Manager.

Technical Expertise

Ø Hardware

o Understands mobile phones, their capabilities, benefits and issues associated with mobility

o Has knowledge of carrier plans and packages for business, coverage maps

o Habits of users based on occupation, location and situation

o Phone types based on type of use/point of use

o Wi-Fi

o DAS

o Has full working knowledge with capability, coverage, portability, QO and unrelated wireless signals

Ø Software

o Epic

o Nurse call, physiological monitoring, orders and results, RFID/RTLS

o 'other' hospital systems

o Ancillary software related to healthcare and Epic

o Alert and Event Management

o Avoiding staff fatigue

o Escalation

o Confirmation

o Apps

Ø Security

o IT, HIPAA, phone

o Data protection

o BYOD situations security

Ø Policy and Procedure Development

o User

o Device

o Mobility

o Security

o Levels of capability based on occupation/role/title

Ø Procurement

o Short listing qualified vendors

o Scheduling vendor demonstrations

o Product and bid comparison

o Selection criteria

o Contracts

o Able to insert protections

o For the Client above and beyond normal terms and condition

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Assist with determining functional requirements and user specifications

Ø Hardware solution: Responsible for product demos and pre-qualifying vendors

Ø Understand complexity and executing the RFI and RFP process

Ø Manage any on-site proof of concept testing making sure systems were procured and made-ready, brought on-line and commissioned, with integration for alert and alarm management from clinical systems and communication to Epic (client partner)

Ø Make recommended Technology Basis of Design report to Mobile Communication Strategy Oversight Committee and Senior Leadership for approval. This document will serve as the design teams Basis of Design and basis of technology spend for the mobility project

Ø Develop project timeline and milestones

Ø Coordinate with client Health Mobile Communication Strategy Oversight leaders for program creation
