Job Description

Role is responsible for high-level network planning, design, optimization and deployment for the Company's global corporate network - with a strong emphasis on security solutions. The Network Architect leads strategic decisions regarding network architectures and engineers network solutions across the enterprise. -Design and integrate security solutions involving the network, server, and end- point protection into Cyber security framework. -Prepare and maintain documentation of network standards, configurations, procedures and cabling layouts.
-Manage a team consisting of 3rd party network and security engineers
-Communicate with various levels of management and other departments as necessary
-Ability to create accurate system diagrams and documentation for design and planning network security systems.
-Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

Job Requirements

Experience

-Must have in-depth knowledge of network and network security best practices and various tools (Cisco ACI, VPN, Palo Alto VPN, Cisco Client, Cisco ASA, Cisco Client, NexGen FW, Solarwinds, IP Management tools (Infoblox), WireShark, SIEM, SOC). Needs to have an advanced understanding of routing protocols such as but not limited to OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Experience with next generation firewalls such as Palo Alto and Cisco FirePOWER.
-Software Defined Network (Cisco ACI, Tetration, VMWare NSX, Viptela, Meraki, Cloudgenix etc)
-Strong working knowledge with Cisco LAN architectures including Ethernet, STP, VTP, VLANs, QOS etc.
-Strong working knowledge of wireless technologies, management and performance monitoring and tuning
-Centralized device Management (CSM, CFMC, etc)
-Cisco Nexus/Data Center deployment/operation experience preferred
-Application load balancing technologies (F5 Network infrastructure: Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM) and Access Policy Manager (APM)
-Experience in planning and extending networks into cloud services
-Experience with architecture frameworks.
-Data center architecture, Mobile infrastructure, Virtualization and Voice Infrastructure preferred
-Project management skills / experience.

EDUCATION
-Bachelor's degree preferred, a CCNP/CCIE certificate required with CCIE level experience
