Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnostics of end user voice and network
Responsible for software administration of Cisco voice/network systems or Avaya/Nortel systems for end user telephone installation, move, add, change, and disposal (IMACD) functions.
Ensure telecom and network systems and related equipment is in optimal working condition.
Maintain Knowledge Management documentation for problem resolution.
Provide assistance to the Enterprise Help Desk for telecom and network related technical support issues.
Provide network/telecom related technical support to end-users.
Assist network and voice engineering teams as needed with setup, configuration, and maintenance of system software.
Work independently and with minimal supervision.
Audio visual programming and diagnostics
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
CCNA Voice/Collaboration - CCNP Voice/Collaboration REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years' experience with Cisco Unified Communications product suite including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Unified Presence, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Voice Gateways (PRI, CAS, FXO, FXS), Cisco Unified Communication Manager Express/Unity Express, Expressway, MRA, TMS/TMS-XE/Conductor/Telepresence Servers, IX/DX/SX video endpoints, WebEx/Jabber/Spark. Experience with Legacy Nortel, Avaya PBX and Key Systems, Virtualization with VMware ESXI and vCenter along with Virtual networking and integration with physical networking, Microsoft Winders Server and Active Directory.
Must have experience in planning, designing implementing and troubleshooting Cisco telecommunication platforms. Also, must have experience doing migrations from Nortel to Cisco UC and UCCX platforms.
Experience doing Cisco Collaboration deployments, upgrades and troubleshooting. Hands-on knowledge and experience in routing protocols like BGP4, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, Ethernet Switching and multiple layers (1-2 protocols) like Frame Relay, HDLC or PPP will be helpful.
Must be knowledgeable in IP Networking, enterprise voice solutions, VoIP technology, IPsec, TDM Voice, VoIP CPE, Soft Switches, Session Border Controllers, Routers and Firewalls.
Must be able to work well with other team members in a collaborative manner, fostering learning and knowledge sharing to complete projects and equally be able to work solo with limited supervision and project oversight.
