In support of our Veterans Affairs Client (VA) we are currently looking for Network Engineers or System Administrators with extensive Access Control List (ACL) experience.
Performs analysis on ACLs and ensures configuration meets baseline standards
Performs vulnerability assessment and proposes solutions on mitigating security risks
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and maintains network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, etc.)
Determine Risks and Priorities and review current incidents and determine appropriate threat levels
Works in a team environment that is deadline driven
Recommends enterprise best practices.
Develop white papers, GAP analyses, and other types of technical/business documentation as required
Communicates and presents reports to stakeholders and leadership
Requirements for the Position:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required
6+ years of System Administration experience in medium to large enterprise systems managing access
Experience supporting networks in a production environment.
Understanding of routing, switching, and related networking technologies
Expert knowledge in developing and configuring ACLs on network equipment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience securing medical devices, in the medical field, or working at the Department of Veteran Affairs is desired
