Oracle DBA to help with two outcomes:
- Database Migration/Refresh ongoing maintenance
- Upgrade Oracle Upgrade to version 19c due to not being supported by Oracle after 2020. 1500 Databases need to be migrated to the latest version. 80% of their Oracle infrastructure.
Heavy process and procedure role, no new development. Person will follow procedures to perform upgrades and refreshes as quickly as possible.
Should be able to perform maintenance, support, patching and troubleshooting of existing Oracle Databases.
- 4-6 years of experience overall
- Must understand Oracle Enterprise Manager functionality
- RAC-Real Application Clusters- must have experience with this software
- General Understanding of Linux Unix, prompts and scripts
- Oracle Exadata experience is a big plus
- vDRA is a big plus
