Our Client is in need of a Sr level Oracle DBA.
Day to day responsibilities:
Production support for 40+ Oracle and Oracle RAC server instances
Production support for 200+ SQL server instances
Project work as needed by application upgrades or new implementations
This position is a mix of production support and project base. The ratio of projects to production supports fluctuates depending on organizational initiatives. There is an on call rotation that last for two weeks and is shared among the four DBA team members. Some of my goals for this team is standardizing on a database monitoring platform, a unified auditing solution that can handle both SQL and Oracle, and consolidating to one team the database management for all databases in the enterprise.
