Job Description

Position: Pharmacy Tech

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri

Duration: Long Term

 

Hours are 12:30pm - 9:00pm

Job Requirements

Job Description          

  • This will be working in Pharmacy Helpdesk. They will be fielding calls from Pharmacies and Doctors offices.  
  • Will be providing authorizations based on their rules engine to authorize medications within the. 
  • Prefer a pharmacy tech with at least two years’ experience in retail or hospital pharmacy.  Knowledge of medications and how a pharmacy works. 
  • could also be a weekend shift working 9-6 sat/sun and then tue/wed off.  
  • Call volume is 40/day to start off with.  they progress about 10 extra calls per day every month up to 70-80.  
  • training is 8-5 for 6 weeks and then move into a shift.
