Our client is one of America’s top producers of their particular product that is used in multiple industries.   They are widely known around the region for having some of the best benefits and perks, some of which include profit sharing on top of 401k matching plans and bonuses that typically pay out anywhere between 15-30%.   

In their large non-union production facility located just outside of Indianapolis, they are looking to hire a Plant Mechanical Engineer.   

Main duties include:

  • Leading all plant mechanical equipment projects on systems such as compressed air, boilers, HVAC, overhead cranes and plant water systems
  • Assisting in the physical expansion of the plant including equipment installation and power distribution support
  • Leading preventative maintenance projects within the plant
  • Using reliability practices such as vibration and oil analysis to monitor plant equipment
  • Assisting in the purchasing of new plant equipment

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in REQUIRED, ideally in a Mechanical Engineering program
  • At least 2-4 years of experience leading plant equipment projects
  • Strong preventative maintenance experience
