Point of Sales (POS) Team Lead / Anlayst

Description

• Assists in analysis and design activities associated with the development and maintenance of the POS database

• Interfaces with vendors to understand whether vendor products will meet business and technical requirements

• Creates and maintains documentation for consistent and organized processes within team. Will be required to evaluate current processes and documentation to determine if there is room for improvement and efficiency.

• Ensures that updates and changes are tested thoroughly and signed off by the customer prior to deployment

• Responsible for coordination of teams’ efforts, as well as creation and maintenance of customer level databases as defined by a project or request

• Provides Level 3 support as subject matter expert

• Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate groups based on defined service level agreements

• Interacts with development personnel as necessary to determine solutions or resolve issues

• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the business area and applies technical expertise to determine appropriate solutions to meet the customer needs while adhering to processes and standards, recommending more efficient ways of performing and configuring POS systems

• Serves as a primary contact for customer point of sale database requests. Anticipates customer concerns and takes initiative to proactively resolve issues

• Builds and maintains excellent customer relationships

• Assists with QA point of sale issues, setup, and maintenance upgrades

• Responsible for Menu Item Setup and POS setup of Menu

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in Software Engineering

• 4+ years’ experience in point of sale software management

• Restaurant industry experience strongly preferred

• Micros POS experience required

• Must have flexible schedule for 24x7x365 support for Level 2 supported by on call rotation

• At least 2 years’ experience managing projects and team resources
