The Portfolio Program Manager supports new product development and commercialization, driving projects from the business case stage through to launch. In this role, the Manager serves as a project manager, and additionally drives contract negotiations and commercialization preparations.

Project Management

  • Own action plan maintenance and attainment for assigned projects
  • Balance short-term and long-term project needs, setting and adjusting milestones and deadlines as needed to achieve an on-time launch
  • Apply critical thinking and apply business acumen to make decisions and tradeoffs in line with organizational expectations to progress project
  • Communicate about project progress regularly at monthly review meetings and ad hoc as needed
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure production readiness

Commercialization

  • Establish tracking systems, metrics, and financial forecasts for revenue and other leading commercial metrics
  • Develop sales tools and collateral to equip field sales, inside sales, and channel partners for success
  • Work with engineering, marketing communications and product line colleagues develop application 'success stories,' catalog material, sales bulletins, and white papers
  • Create training materials for internal and external sellers and commercial associates
  • Conduct pricing analyses and recommend pricing strategy and details
  • Conduct inventory analyses and recommend inventory strategy and details

Contract Negotiations

  • Maintain and evolve standard terms sheets and contract templates for use with potential suppliers
  • Negotiate supplier contracts
  • Liaise with supply chain team to ensure alignment with operational requirements within contracts

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing company
  • Proficient with MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management and implementation experience
  • Strong analytical skills

**Must be willing and able to travel by all forms of transportation. Job requires up to 25% travel, including international locations.
