Power Supply Technician & Digital Technician
• Works from schematics, test procedures and specifications, data sheets, wiring diagrams, software instructions and verbal and written instructions. • Utilizes specialized and commercial test equipment, computers and related equipment to perform manual and automated evaluation, performance and environmental tests on power supplies and power related units. Troubleshoot, using standard or established procedures and methods, hardware and equipment including minor unit manipulations, tear downs, select resistors for installation and performing wire and component checks. • Assists in unit diagnostics including rework recommendation. Performs unit retests, special setup testing and extended (time) environmental test. • May assist engineering in final checkout and redlining of new test procedures, test equipment drawings, test fixtures and software. • Performs test data management activities including data trending and evaluation, collects and documents test data and other metrics, initiates test anomaly reports and makes verbal and written reports as required. • Assists with issues involving rework and parts with engineering and manufacturing. Arranges the movement of flight hardware and test equipment. • Meet necessary certification as required.
