Robert Half is looking for a Product Support Specialist for a client located in Franklin, TN. This is a temporary to full-time placement role.

Skills Required:

-3- 5 years of Tier III Support experience supporting healthcare PM / EMR Systems
•Advanced troubleshooting of applications
•General software application maintenance and upgrades
•Experience maintaining standard operating procedures
-Project Coordination or Project Management Experience
-At minimum, must have supported 1-2 PM EMR systems (any systems)
-Must have experience working with healthcare data and must understand HIPAA Compliance

Soft Skills:

-Must have a sense of urgency to complete tasks
-Self-motivated
-Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and oral communication)

Project/Position Details:

The Product Support Specialist engages outside vendors as necessary for advanced troubleshooting of applications; assists in performing general software application maintenance and upgrades; assists in maintaining the standard operating procedures; basic SQL management (replication, backups, restore).

This company keeps acquiring companies, so the goal is to get all the data from each company integrated into one platform. This person will deal with the coordination of the implementation and migration of data. Their vendor is the one doing the data migration for them. That should be finished within the next 1-2 years. Until that point, this person will be doing a lot more support, but after that the Project Management/Project Coordinating part of the job would most likely increase.

•This role is 80% support (handling helpdesk tickets) and 20% Project Management/Coordination (interacting with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating tasks).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following:
•Responds to assigned/escalated tickets based on priority.
•Engages and assists outside software vendor for advanced troubleshooting of applications (Practice Management, Electronic Health Records, HL7 issues).
•Monitoring SQL and DFS Replication and SQL Backups.
•Implementation / Migration of Electronic Health Records/PM systems.
•Install / Configure imaging devices for EHR.
•Development of special reports from PM/EHR applications as needed.
•Administration of Tasks, Queues, Provider Onboarding and other PM/EMR items.
•Assists with upgrades to various programs used by the company.
•Troubleshoots system issues remotely in coordination with other IT department staff.
•Travels to other office locations, if necessary, to troubleshoot.
•Available after office hours when necessary for urgent needs.
•Maintains knowledge of and follows policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and all federal and state rules and regulations related to the position.
•Attends all required compliance trainings.
•All other duties as assigned.

Salary Ranges:

-If the candidate has only supported 1-2 PM / EMR systems (any systems) then the pay rate would be in the lower to mid-range of the pay rate listed.
-If the candidate has been directly involved in the implementation and migration of 2-3 EMR systems, then he/she would qualify for the higher pay rate.
