Production Planner

Job Tittle: Production Planner - Elizabeth City, NC

Position Type: Contract To-Hire

Pay Rate: 25-hourly

Job Description:

Job duty breakdown:
65% production planning
15% procurement follow
10% Quality
10% reporting/scheduling

------------------------------------------------------------
Top 3 Must:
- degree (in areas fields mentioned on the posting or otherwise)
- demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks
- good organizational skills

Top 3 Nice:
- experience in production support role such as production planning, scheduling, production or industrial engineering
- experience with Costpoint ERP system
- mechanical or electrical background

Nice #4
- former military

Coordinate, control and expedite all material, services and paperwork necessary for the completion of assigned complex electronic assemblies and projects in production or field support. Create, follow and work through complex issues related to shop worker orders, drawing review and release, engineering change notices, nonconformance reports and purchases orders. Work as a team with engineering, programs, manufacturing, logistics, accounting, purchasing and local suppliers.

Research, coordinate, control and expedite all engineering change notices to material and process paperwork for the implementation of these RNs into production and field support.

Coordinate work on fast moving programs with numerous planners by keeping organized status updates.

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Looking for electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering degree. Entry level with internship background
