Production Program Management Manager

Job Description

Production Program Management Manager must be self motivated, goal oriented, quality-driven. The successful Production Program Management Manager candidate will:

  • Be responsible for managing PPM activity and resource allocation to successfully launch major and minor programs for TBIN
  • Be responsible for Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) implementation procedures at TBIN and reporting project/program status to TBIN and TBA Executives
  • Direct and guide PPM team members to ensure customer program requirements are met
  • Negotiate and correlate between customer and customer plants as the need arises
  • Negotiate and correlate between TBIN departments and TBAGC plants as the need arises
  • Coordinate resources and ensure tasks are completed according to plan
  • Develop and maintain parts and tooling tool tracking matrix
  • Support plant production preparation activities
  • Actively support milestone audits
  • Hold regular meetings internally and with customer(s) to report status of program Key Performance Indicators (KPI) using standard reporting formats
  • Have Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Have 7-10 years of experience in Automotive Project Management or 7-10 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing (e.g., Production Control, Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality or Advanced Product Quality Planning-APQP.
  • Have greater than 8 years of functional leadership experience as a supervisor
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time to visit suppliers and plants varies according to program)

Production Program Management Manager: •Have Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience •Have 7-10 years of experience in Automotive Project Management or 7-10 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing (e.g., Production Control, Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality or Advanced Product Quality Planning-APQP. •Have greater than 8 years of functional leadership experience as a supervisor •Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time to visit suppliers and plants (varies according to program) •Effective leadership and people skills •Active listener with effective communication skills •Strong attention to detail •Effective project management skills •Strong organization, planning and analytical skills •Must possess strong negotiation skills •Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information in written and spoken English •Solid working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Project)
