We are currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Warren, MI to lead the support for the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Optionally Man Tank (OMT) program. This program will investigate optimal combat vehicle crew size and crew station configuration by conducting solider experiments on vehicle crew station prototypes. As the Deputy Program Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to develop, design, and fabricate OMT crew stations including user interface; design and conduct crew station/soldier performance experiments and document and present results.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules, identify and track project milestones
Work closely with government project manager to ensure planning and execution aligns with program goals and objectives
Monitor project budgets.
Monitor and report on systems integration and testing.
Conduct weekly project status meetings
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance before the first day of work.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering discipline is required.
Experience with management and execution of DoD programs.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Ability to speak/write clearly and professionally.
