Infoscitex, a DCS company, has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Sensors Research team. Our team of top-notch engineers, scientists, and computer scientists seeks a competent leader to ensure that IST meets cost, schedule, and technical and risk milestones; while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, strong employee engagement, and supporting business growth objectives.
In this role, your leadership will position IST to serve the Government as a partner of choice, and enable the ability to shape plans and priorities in a mutually beneficial manner.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least a Bachelor and at least 8 years of related experience (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity category. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience levels may be considered for alternative classification.)
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information: Active TS/SCI.
Experience managing software development efforts with knowledge of systems engineering and software development processes.
Ability to proactively formulate and execute strategies for successful contract performance and business growth.
Ability to track technical progress and milestones, and report status.
Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate this with customers, staff, subcontractors and company management.
Ability to engage in discussions across all technical areas covered by the contract in order to understand the mission and support the best approach to satisfying customer requirements; including: software development processes, systems engineering; cyber; IT and cloud environments; web collaboration; and ISR sensor data.
Experience coordinating the preparation and delivery of high quality, fully compliant contract deliverables in accordance with required due dates; as well as coordinating the execution of all administrative functions required by the contract such as contracting, subcontracting, purchasing, security, safety, etc.
Periodic short term travel will be required in this role (~ 25% time).
While not firm requirements for consideration, we believe an exemplary candidate would also bring:
PMP Certification – highly desirable.
Systems Engineering background.
Proven project management experience with mid-sized (10+ person) software development teams using agile methods.
Experience using Jira for project management and tracking purposes.
