Program Manager, PD Personalized Healthcare (PHC) Contractor
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Direct Reports: N/A

Must have some Pharma/Healthcare background as you will primarily be involved in PHC Imaging Data Science.

Position Summary:
Personalized Healthcare (PHC) creates opportunities to improve outcomes for patients today and in the future. The Product Development Personalized Healthcare (PDP) function aims to drive enterprise transformation across the Pharma value chain by
Accessing meaningful data at scale (high-dimensionality datasets with longitudinal clinical trial data, real-world data, whole genome sequencing, transcriptomics, immune system profiling, anatomic and pathology imaging data, and digital health data)
 
Program Management responsibilities:
• Lead strategy and implementation of real world data partnerships, data access solutions and cloud-based annotation solutions
• Partner with Imaging scientists to understand high-level strategy for data acquisition, ingestion and use that enable algorithm product development
• Leverage your expertise to identify and define the most critical priorities and establish best practices for the team.
• Act as overall lead in driving discussions and solutions to the business
• Provide ongoing visibility into the progress, risks, schedules, and timelines
• Manage and represent various work-streams, acting as a focal point for the program
• Manage complex inter-team dependencies and bridge the gaps
• Collaborate with many different resources from across the organization
• Partner with cross functional partners in Data Science, Imaging and Therapeutic Area teams to enable delivery of the highest impact work
• Provide visibility and transparency into the portfolio of data partnerships and collaborations
• Improve team productivity by removing obstacles and keeping processes lean
• Maintain urgency by ensuring there is strong collaboration within multiple parts of the business
• Regularly assess risks and opportunities; understand best practices, drive for process improvements, and find new ways of operating, with a focus on simplification and productivity.
 
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• Experience with program management support of software/technical product development
• Experience with managing large cross-functional projects and complex data partner collaborations involving real world data
• Ability to deliver complex projects iteratively with multiple dependencies and constraints
• Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level direction
• Experience building program plans / roadmaps, thorough understanding of dependency management
• Ability to influence, negotiate and inspire others in a matrixed environment
• Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
• Experience compiling and presenting business options, backed by data & experimentation, to decision makers
• Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
• Ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions. You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line.
• Able to understand the bigger picture by using your expertise and problem-solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues
• Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies and concepts with minimal lag time
• Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
 
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of Program Management and Project Management experience leading data acquisition and partnership collaborations; and/or software/technology collaborations and product development
• Strong communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• BA/BS, Masters preferred
