Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

An experienced Project Manager/ Sr. Consultant is needed for this position! Robert Half Technology is are seeking Senior Project Managers in the Philadelphia, PA area to work with our local client by joining an existing team working onsite. You will strengthen your candidacy if you can be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. The person we full-time should be able to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. Key responsibilities

- Works in partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- Masters deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Product Owner, and Dev Ops

- Manages the daily stand-ups, securing they are timely, brief, and focused

- Prepares the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

- Be of help to classify, manage, identify risk for functional improvement requests

- Endeavors as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, leading scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the team is working effectively

- Oversees project planning

- Develops and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

- Work in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

- Confirms project with suitable ticket workflows and boards

- Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Delivers detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, risk assessment, and project status

- Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable

- Programs and administers the sprint planning and grooming meetings and routes ticket assignments

- Works together with Product Owner/Product Manager to confirm that the product vision and high-level business objectives are distinct and workable

- In partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

- Offers support to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Works closely together and communicates with developers, designers, stakeholders, and technical team members

- Devises schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Convenes material from technical leads, business analysts, and QA leads into advice

Job Requirements

- You might be a good fit for this position if you have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

- You might be a good fit for this position if you have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- It is preferred for applicants to have a Project Management (PMP) certification

- Project management knowledge, along with strong operation and project management skills

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- CAPM experience desired

- You'll do well at this position if you are flexible and focused

- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience

- This most important thing for any applicant to this position is to be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
