Job Description:

Description: Position supports WW Field Medical Communications Immunology and Fibrosis Franchise Lead - additional support required to WW Field Medical and Communication Specialists I&F (currently four including one vacant) working across I&F therapeutic area, globally, and with impact across the function of Field Medical to support the safe and appropriate use of medicines.

Responsibilities include

  • Ability to handle project work streams and initiatives aligned with the Field Medical Plan to deliver impactful HCP interactions
  • Develop stakeholder communications utilizing various systems to generate reports on Field Medical activities (both qualitative and quantitative) and execution of strategies.
  • Coordination of presenters and slides for WW FLM Manager quarterly meetings, Quartely WW FM I&F Franchise calls and any Country calls (delivered through Microsoft Teams) led by the WWFMCL
  • Liaison with Agency to produce onboarding TA guides for new areas following a template already set
  • Support WW FMCL to document processes within FMCS role to ensure consistency and alignment across FMCS teams (FIRe Insight review process, Onboarding, study supports, Congresses…)
  • Provides project management activities for Field Medical materials, training, meetings, systems (Interact) and communication topics
  • Support I&F Level Key Insights Executive summaries development as required
  • Support Annual Plan tracking for WWFME &F Franchise team.
  • Support Team with virtual training series - liaison with speakers and Agency to pre-record sessions if any.
  • Support Team with External TL contracts
  • Support WWFMCL in Scorecards development, Quarterly team highlights and achievements and Newsletters.

Coordinate the MCTs, CTs update with the FMCS and our Business Operations teams for Interact Implementations

  • Manage field medical materials repository, such as content organization, uploading and maintenance of materials through Veeva Vault/WW FM SharePoint site.

Required experience

  • Minimum of basic science degree
  • Strong background in project management
  • Understanding and experience of Medical Affairs teams, either in-house or through medical communications
  • Disease area knowledge and an understanding of scientific communications
  • Understanding of the Field Medical function
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at using standard business applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx etc. and ability to interface with new systems and technologies.

Knowledge desired

  • Disease area knowledge and an understanding of scientific communications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Given we are in the midst of a Global pandemic, travel is unlikely to be required and the candidate can work from home - once the PPK office is open (likely post-sept) there will be the opportunity to work from home/office in a flexible way according to policies and rules.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Experience working in cross functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and act as a team player
  • Translating scientific or clinical data into an understandable and valuable form to help physicians best serve their patients
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage projects, timelines, and gather feedback to continuously enhance ways of working
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts and medical communications/training vendors as needed
  • Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn about new subject areas and environments
