Project Manager and Technical Writer

Required skills

 

•         Bachelor s degree in Communication, English, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

•         5 years’ work experience in technical writing with at least 2 years’ experience in project management.

•         Any dev experience is a big plus.

•         2-4 years as a BA and PM (70%)

•         Technical Writer (30%).

•         Knowledge of JIRA/Visio diag/charts.

•         Intermediate understanding of and experience applying project management concepts and methodologies

•         Demonstrated knowledge of technical writing skills

•         Documentation experience.

•         Requirement gathering.

•         Release planning

•         Identifies and validates information and makes recommendations for changes and/or updates.

•         Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish tasks.

•         Uses effective communication.

•         Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

•         Communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

•         Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

•         Verbally communicates with others to convey information effectively.

•         Reads and understands information and ideas presented in writing.
