Project Manager

Compensation: $45000.00 to $75000.00 yearly

Seeking a Project manager to join our growing Service Department. As a leading technology reseller headquartered in Northeast Ohio we focus heavily on technology implementations that are on time and on budget for our customers. Our technology portfolio includes focused areas like voice, network, wireless, security, managed services, Office 365, and other cloud services. The complexity of our projects drives the need for detail oriented project management in order to ensure a successful deployment and an unparalleled customer experience.
Our team is one that places a high value on culture, teamwork, and cooperation. As a Project Manager you will serve as a central point of contact on multiple projects both for our internal Engineers as well as our customers. Clear and timely communication is an absolutely essential component to be successful in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Interact with the sales team to provide updates on current projects and set expectations on resource availability and timelines for upcoming projects.
•Help to scope jobs prior to sale by defining Project Management requirements in proposals and scopes of work.
•Attend pre sale meetings with Account Executives to articulate our project and service delivery process.
•Convert sales orders into projects in our CRM system and set them up for execution.
•Order equipment from distribution via Purchase Orders.
•Track equipment orders and keep customers up to date on delivery.
•Schedule and execute internal and external kick off calls to ensure a project is set up for success from the start.
•Schedule and execute milestone calls with customers and internal Engineers to maintain a projects pace, schedule, and budget.
•Schedule and execute internal and external closeout calls with Engineers and Customers to ensure jobs are completed to the customers satisfaction.
•Maintain records for projects including purchase orders, invoices, licensing, and any pertinent customer specific documentation.
•Participate in Project audit meetings to review proposed versus actual costs and hours.

Provide customers with unparalleled customer service at all times. We've maintained customers for 30+ years due to our dedication to always putting the customer’s needs first.
Work effectively in a team based environment with other Project Managers.
Continuously advance your detail oriented development through training and hands on experience.
Assist with the continuous improvement of our internal processes and procedures.
Education, Skills & Experience:
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
•Team player approach
•Dedication to Customer Service
•Experience leading a team
•3+ years of experience managing projects
•PMP certification is beneficial but not required
•Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (not required)

Job Requirements

- You're sure to succeed in this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

- Candidates who are flexible and focused will be preferred

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Project management experience desired

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Project management skills, strong operational abilities, and demonstrated leadership and supervisory qualifications

- Project Management (PMP) certification desired

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- This position requires experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

- Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools
