This position is classified as Project Manager 1.
Safety requirements for all aspects of the site, including pre-planning, monitoring of construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work driving the company EHS initiatives on a daily basis with the trades/subcontractors.
Manage operational customer and stakeholder relationships on the project.
Assist in establishing the design management process across the project. Understands the impact of current design-related issues on the overall project plan.
Diagnose core issues and identifies a range of potential solutions, selecting the most appropriate course of action given the scenario.
Manage contracts in accordance with the specific terms and conditions specified.
Identify and assesses commercial outcomes and executes to support profitable results.
Understand the business drivers for accurate and timely documentation. Uses judgement to adjusts priorities and approach in response to changing drivers to ensure on time, cost effective and high quality delivery.
Take personal accountability for raising any concerns relating to compliance implications for the team or project.
Deliver to quality expectations by understanding their own and others’ deliverable s, consistently monitoring and testing quality of work in progress.
Translate head contract provisions into specific project subcontractor and supplier contracts.
Understand the cost inter dependencies of the project and how best to manage these e.g. attendance costs for contractors, financial implication of overlapping work.
Quickly identifies and manage financial risks and opportunities, including variations against budget and forecast.
Has detailed awareness of the terms of any client/subcontractor contract and is able to assess and identify the risks associated with a contract.

5+ year Pharma Construction experience
Construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders
Managing client contracts
8+ years of construction management experience.
Experience within Life Sciences construction. Related fields are Institutional, Educational, Commercial, Hospitality, etc.
Ability to use Pro-Log or related program for the purpose of RFI's/Submittals/Change Orders/Cost Analysis, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, subs, clients, etc.
