The goal of this effort is to support continued work on the creation and maintenance of algorithm and software development within Python that would allow analysts and researchers to understand adversarial behaviors for the Tracking and Fusion, and the Patterns of Life (PoL) teams, and incorporate the analyses into advanced Air Force research program architectures.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the development of Multi-Domain Analysis Development and Evaluation .
Write, evaluate and integrate code into the project baseline.
Develop Tracking and Fusion and Pattern of Life software.
Code algorithms and develop software interfaces within Python.
Create/edit/review software that will:
Identify/manipulate relevant parameters within big datasets (UNCLASS AND CLASSIFIED);
Use existing interface architecture relevance based on Subject Matter Expert (SME) opinion;
Utilize kinematics knowledge and develop relevant code;
Develop software supporting Multiple Intelligence (multi-INT) for fusion analysis;
UNCLASSIFIED and CLASSIFIED big data analysis;
Develop algorithms and capabilities for near-real time assessment of data sets to be ingestible by and interoperable with the program architecture;
Develop a capability to verify a dataset of interest was properly assessed and ingested;
Write and present technical reports on development activities;
Write technical documentation supporting code, program capabilities and “how to” guides;
And attend meetings and/or demonstrations, alone or with a team.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least a BS degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline and at least 2 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification).
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: Active Secret Clearance.
Baseline knowledge of kinematics.
Experience with sensor data (GEOINT, SIGINT) and big data sets.
Experience with technical writing/documentation, able to interpret and create technical documentation.
Experience with modular and distributed programming.
Familiar with Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Although not firm requirements for consideration: we expect an ideal candidate would also bring experience in application deployment.
