Classification: Quality Assurance Associate
Compensation: $31.66 to $36.66 per hour
The ideal QA Analyst candidate will be familiar with Personal Commercial Lines of Insurance business and the testing practices that can be effective with Sprints which are based on Agile Project Management with SCRUMs. An analytical mindset to take the business requirements / workflows that define the scope of the deliverables and working with Business Analysts and Configuration team members, prepare / validate test cases that will focus on the critical inputs, rules, workflows and risks that need to be mitigated. Specifically, ? Work in the Tampa Office working with the business analysts and development team members. o The candidate will need to exhibit strong negotiation and influencing skills in working with these team members to establish prioritization of what needs to be tested and align with Processes / Standards established by our Quality Assurance Manager and Director. ? Work with an Offshore Quality Assurance teams to execute the test cases within the Information Technology department ? Improve testing practices and internal test controls. And have the following experience, knowledge, and skills: ? Excellent knowledge and working experience with Insurance workflows, policies and procedures. ? Experience with Quality Assurance practices and testing activities for various business automation initiatives and improvements. ? Ability to multitask across these different areas of responsibilities and coordinate testing activities for multiple Sprints. ? Strong Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office/Project and/or other Project Management Tools. ? At least 3+ years of QA experience. ? Four year college, university program certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience ? Customer Centric attitude, a strong work ethic, and a team player with the ability to work well independently. ? Possess above average organizational skills, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Experience in the following will be considered a plus: ? Understanding of Project methodologies and trade-offs including Waterfall and Agile methods is a plus. ? Working knowledge of Requirements Management, Traceability and Defect Tracking productivity tools and processes.
