This enterprise organization is looking for an expert DevOps Lead/Architect to help with strategy and direction for their business to business and business to consumer e-commerce teams. This team is responsible for daily operations and support of the e-commerce and marketing teams for all Whirlpool
IT team that is supporting ecommerce and marketing for all the websites. They work on multiple brands. They are the technical team that supports the AEM and Hybris systems that run the ecommerce for those specific websites.
The job duties will include:
--Evolve scripts and processes for automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platform
--Governance & Reporting - R/A - Establish devops metrics and reporting cadence - Accountable to compile and report out metrics - Develop new automated reporting mechanisms for Devops management. - for SCM - Build & Deployments- success, failure and execution time
--Release Management - C/I - General awareness of the release management process, procedures, best practices. Can contribute to development of these.
--Test Strategy, Planning, Execution - C/I - Awareness of and consulted about testing strategy and execution
--Merging SCM: Branching & merging C/I - Awareness of and consulted about creation of local branches, version control, raising of PRs, and merging of code into all branches - Communicate, advocate, and mentor teams about adhering
Top Three Skills: -Ability to drive strategy and direction for DevOps team
-Knowledge of Jenkins,Bitbucket, Dynatrace and Sonarcube, Jira and Confluence
- Oversee script creation and automation in the CI/CD Pipeline
-Oversee continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline: for the tools to improve build, integrate and deploy process
