Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Provide Electrical Engineering and RF technical and acquisition advice and assistance to the AF Advanced Dynamic Transmit Array Project.

Essential Job Functions:

The work includes replacing/upgrading the existing RF transmission carts currently used with the Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator Improvement & Modernization in the BAF so it can more fully utilize the capabilities of the Next Generation EW Environment Generator.

Provide advice and assistance participating in project IPTs as well as supporting the overall development effort.

The contractor shall provide advice and assistance developing program status, documentation, and CTEIP compliant information.

Provide technical and programmatic assistance by performing the following activities:

Develop/update/review technical requirements, documents, system interfaces, specifications, development plans, program management plans, PWSs, and any
other CTEIP compliant documentation as required.

Assess and evaluate technology, intelligence, and engineering options available from existing and new developments.

Participate in vendor reviews and provide technical assessments.

Conduct high technology tasks.

Participate in IPT meetings, reviews, TIMs, and studies.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 8 years of experience demonstrating capability to work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.

Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance within 6-9 months.

Demonstrated understanding of  systems engineering methodology and practices as well as experience and capability providing SE advice and assistance in the life cycle of projects and products to include requirements definition, design, documentation / system reviews, interface development, system testing, data analysis, V&V, integration, and training.

Leadership, judgment, and teambuilding skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Organizational and time management skills.
