Their engineers hack up and down the technology stack. It's not uncommon for an engineer to go from backend coding to user experience design, from the video encoding pipeline to system scalability, from site maintenance to iOS/Android development. Their engineers own what they build from start to finish.
As a front-end engineer you should have:
-1 years of Data Visualization/Charting experience
-Experience with D3.js or React Native is plus
-Experience utilizing REST APIs
-Comfortable with building UIs from Photoshop/Sketch mockups
-Solid knowledge of the Design Patterns
-Team Player, Must be able to work in a team environment
-Fluent in English reading/writing/speaking
-Iteratively designing and improving upon our video players, application UIs, and cross-device interoperability.
-Architecting real-time data syncing across clients and servers.
-Prototyping, testing, and iterating upon new features.
-Improving and incorporating cross-platform metrics to continually measure engagement and usage patterns
