Program Summary
This contract is a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. Join a tremendous technical team solving hard problems with true mission relevance on emerging technologies. 

Job Summary
An experienced Linux System Administrator is needed lead a small team and provide administration and operational support for mission and analytic networks. The candidate will be the Sr. Staff Member/Lead of a team supporting six system security plans (SSPs) between three enclaves. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency with Linux. The candidate will need a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into an existing technical team. 
Primary Responsibilities 
Provide system administration for RedHat/CentOS 5, 6, 7 to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, kernel parameter and disk partition modification

Perform day to day system administration functions required to maintain systems STE status
Client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming.
Work with VMware vCenter and ESXi as well a KVM
Provide user account management and user access controls.
Provide support and troubleshoot in the following areas: Networking , DNS, web services (apache, tomcat), NFS, SMB, and OpenLDAP.
Perform periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities

Qualifications:
Ten or more years related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study from an accredited college or university is desired but not required. RedHat Certifications are highly desirable and may substitute for 1 year experience.
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Proficiency with LINUX is a firm requirement
System administration experience with RedHat/CentOS 5, 6, 7 
Virtualization experience with VMware - vCenter and ESXi as well as KVM.
Within the last 3 years, experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). 

Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 1 year scripting experience using BOURNE Shell, C Shell or KORN Shell or other scripting languages.

Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 1 year experience performing periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities. 

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IAVA patching
Experience with NetApp and Isilon storage, NiagaraFiles (NiFi) dataflow.
Knowledge of networking, DNS, web services (apache, tomcat), NFS, SMB, and OpenLDAP.

Ability to automate system tasks using bash, python, perl scripting.
Puppet experience desired.
