This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced program with DCS Corp’s U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Ground Vehicle Systems Center engineering group located in Littleton, MA. As an experienced Software Engineer, you will work alongside our U.S. Army Software Engineering Center customer, applying your knowledge and skills by providing technical engineering services that support the development of software requirements, architecture, design, code and test for Ground Vehicle programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Software Development following organizational standard software processes.
Work with customer to develop software requirements.
Design software following defined architectures.
Integrate and Test software.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field and 8 years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
DoD and embedded systems experience.
Excellent technical communication skills; ability to interface with systems and software development engineers.
Experience developing Software following a CMMI process.
Experience with Software Programming Languages such as C++, C#, and C.
Experience developing software on a variety of platforms, Windows and especially Linux.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
Experience with version control tools Git, SVN.
Experience developing safety critical software.
Experience with Qt and QWidget GUI software development.
Experience with software using network transport protocols such as UDP/TCP.
Experience with J1939 CAN bus hardware and software interfacing.
Experience with automotive health monitoring and fault reporting systems.
Experience with code check, testing and build automation tools, cppcheck, cpputest, googletest, Jenkins a plus.
