SharePoint Administrator
Remote Opportunity
Contract

The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for the site creation, site management, and service delivery of Microsoft SharePoint built on SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online Microsoft 365. The candidate should be able to interact with internal line of business customers and fully understand and explain industry-recommended best practices for resolving business requirements through SharePoint implementations. The candidate will be working in a collaborative, team-based environment to develop and implement a hybrid SharePoint farm that enables the company’s transition from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, and to partner with the SharePoint team to support ongoing operational requirements while planning and implementing the SharePoint Online transition activities.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledgeable about SharePoint taxonomy, metadata, content management, collaboration, custom web parts, reports, search, InfoPath, Master Pages, content types, and features.
Advanced knowledge of Office 365 (SharePoint Online) and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 2016
A minimum of 5 years related experience
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers.
Ability to coordinate issues identification and resolution between customers and the technical operations team
Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and implementation of site layouts, site templates, user navigation strategies, and information/data management strategies
Enhances SharePoint using out-of-the-box features: SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and/or third-party technologies
Assist in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc.
Administer, monitor, and manage SharePoint Server Farms, and all other web-related on premise and cloud system (software as a service)
Perform basic support and debugging in test and production environments
Implement and manage site permissions and access controls
Provide a source of expertise in incorporating and implementing web and SharePoint solutions
Evaluate, implement, and maintain changes to SharePoint systems
Provide support in enhancement of the SharePoint server infrastructure operations and performance
Support SharePoint Online project planning and activities
Knowledgeable and savvy in Microsoft Office 365 technology including technical implementation of each of the major related components in scope for this program (SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).
